Each Year the American Legion has an Americanism Essay contest.
For Talbot County Grades 3 and 4 (Group I) Lanna Blessing won First Place. Her Essay then won 2nd place at the District level.
For Talbot County Grades 5 and 6 (Group 2) Wyatt Blessing won First Place. His Essay then won 1st place at the District level. His essay will now be sent to the State (Department) level.
