Pfizer Vaccine Clinics

Pfizer Vaccine Clinic

We are pleased to have the opportunity to offer Pfizer COVID vaccine clinics for students 16 years of age and older at St. Michaels Middle High School on Thursday, May 13, and at Easton High School on Friday, May 14. Pre-registration is required, using this link: Vaccine Clinic Registration. Parents do not have to be present; however, the consent form linked below is required for 16 and 17 year-olds. Students will be notified of an appointment time prior to the clinics.

Clinics are being conducted through a partnership between Talbot County Public Schools, the Talbot County Health Department, and the University of Maryland Shore Regional Health. Students will be given information about their second dose during their appointment.

We are grateful to our health care community for partnering to provide an on-campus opportunity for students 16 and older to be vaccinated, especially those graduating in a few short weeks. With the recent announcement from The University System of Maryland, students must be fully vaccinated in order to attend in-person in the fall, providing students a convenient vaccine clinic at this time has become even more important.

Students ages 16 and 17 years old must have the written consent of their parent or guardian in order to receive the vaccine. Vaccine recipients must also complete the Pre-Vaccine Screening Form. The forms are attached to this letter and may also be obtained from the school’s front office or health room, or on the TCPS website. Forms should be turned into the school nurse no later than Tuesday May 11, 2021.

If you have any questions please contact the school nurse at SMMHS (410-745-2852) or EHS (410-819-0499).
