TCPS 2023 Literary Arts Publications Spindrift & Buoy

We are thrilled to share the 2023 Editions of our two student-produced literary arts magazines, Buoy and Spindrift. The publications feature short stories, poetry, and essays paired with paintings, drawings, and digital artwork.

At the recent Spindrift unveiling reception, TCPS Fine Arts Supervisor James Redman stated, “Our TCPS arts and literature magazines, Spindrift and Buoy, serve as powerful vehicles of expression, reflecting the thoughts, emotions, and ideas of even our youngest students. Congratulations to all of our students and staff on yet another year of tremendous work!”

Special thanks to our teacher advisors Bridget Whited, Dr. Eden Hade, Jessica Mattingley, and Lyndsey Basham for their unwavering support and encouragement in guiding student expression, and a heartfelt thanks to the Artistic Insights Fund of The Mid-Shore Community Foundation, Talbot County Arts Council, and the Talbot County Education Foundation for making the project possible.
