Tuition Reimbursement
- Please see Certified and Support Agreements for details concerning the amount of credits reimbursed each year.
- Once you have reviewed the agreement, your next step is to complete a 2 part subsidy form with the course you will be taking by semester. Send the completed form to Regina Villers in the HR department at TCEC. The forms are located in the office of each school and at TCEC.
- Once the form is approved or denied, HR will return the form back to you via interoffice mail.
Talbot County Public Schools (TCPS) has direct billing agreements with the following accredited college/universities:
- Salisbury University
- Bowie State University
- Notre Dame Of Maryland
- University of Phoenix
- Stevenson University
- La Salle University
- Mount St. Mary’s University
Direct billing allows you to start the courses without any out of pocket expenses other than the cost of fees and books. TCPS pays your cost per credit only. The school will put a hold on your account for the amount that is approved by HR. Once you complete the course the education establishment will bill TCPS directly, minus any addiction fees, as long as you meet the requirements explained in the Certified and Support Agreements.

If you choose to use an accredited college/university in which we do not have a billing agreement with, you will need to do the following:
- Repeat #1 – #3.
- Once you have successfully completed the course with an “A” or “B”, you will need to send a transcript (original if recertifying) to HR along with a statement showing what you paid cost per credit. Reimbursement will follow the guidelines outlined in the agreements.
