SMMHS National Technical Honor Society Induction

St.Michaels 2023 National Technical Honor Society Inductees

St. Michaels Middle High School held the 2023 National Technical Honor Society(NTHS) induction on February 17, 2023. NTHS recognizes student achievement in the Career and Technology Education Pathways offered at Talbot County Public Schools, such as Culinary Arts, Biomedical Technology, Interactive Media Production, Carpentry, and Teacher Academy of Maryland. Inductees recited a pledge to uphold the standards of conduct and achievement of NTHS and continue striving for excellence.

TCPS Students Successfully Complete CNA Program

A cohort of 14 high school juniors and seniors have officially earned Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials. All of the students completed 100 theory hours, 40 clinical hours, and an exam as required by the Maryland Board of Nursing with a 100% pass rate. They were given the opportunity to practice hands-on skills in local facilities and are now employable as Certified Nursing Assistants. Several will pursue degrees in Nursing at the collegiate level.
